The latest release from Double Barrel Records (Mississippi Mudsharks, Joey Harris & the Mentals…), Delta Heat features San Diego Blues veterans Ken Schoppmeyer on harmonica and vocals, and Johnny Flynn on guitar. They are backed by a crack band laying down the solid and swingin’ grooves. Fans of T-Bone Walker, Hollywood Fats, Guitar Slim, and Anson Funderburgh will dig the authentic, yet fresh take in this blues genre.
