Erin Durant’s stunning second album Islands, produced by TV On The Radio’s Kyp Malone, is a full, carefully arranged epic that has drawn comparisons to Joanna Newsom, Joni Mitchell, and Julie Byrne. It’s a sprawling, full album featuring varied instrumentation and overarching narratives with Erin’s strong, clear voice cutting through.
