Alasdair Roberts continues to forge an individual path through the world of Scottish traditional music. Alasdair’s progressive vision has led him to collaborate with Concerto Caledonia director David McGuinness and sound sculptor Amble Skuse. Using vintage pianos (like, the mid-1800s vintage) and 21st century electronics for a backdrop, Alasdair sings a set of ballads with great heart and soul, making for 2018’s most singular (and affecting) folk music album!1.
