An exciting and powerful gathering of blues, jazz and boogie-woogie recordings performed by some of the very best female artists of their eras. Among them Christine Chatman plays mean boogie piano while Viola Wells, a.k.a. Miss Rhapsody, ranges from boogie in ‘Bye Bye Baby’, to the socially conscious ‘We’re Sisters Under The Skin’. A strong album of some of the finest female blues artists.
