Songs of Conscience And Concern is an album of yet-to-be discovered gems from folk music’s foremost trio. Rather than a compilation of Peter, Paul & Mary hits, these 15 songs won’t be found on any “best of” set, and few have ever been released on CD. All but the newly recorded “Don’t Laugh at Me” (a #2 country hit for Mark Wills) are drawn from 20 albums recorded during their nearly 4-decade career. Other key tracks include “Wasn’t That a Time” and “Because All Men Are Brothers.”
