“Country music outlaw and Grammy award-winning musician Sammi Smith sings songs about the gritty realities of modern life. A erfect blend of classic country, contemporary country, and even a touch of bluegras this sophomore album expands on the music that has come before by adding depth and intrigue to her songwriting. Released in 1972 with Mega Entertainment & Records and flying safely beneath the radar of popular radio and television, this well-kept secret has not gone unnoticed amongst the country community, with the great Johnny Cash admitting “I am extremely impressed with the versatility of this album – the old ones, the new ones and the blues ones”.
