Sweet Undertow is a movement: it is also the blues-soaked Americana project of Chicago-born songwriter Eddy Undertow, whose restless path runs from wildland firefighting to wandering Asia and Europe with only a guitar in hand.Released in 2022 as Sweet Undertow’s debut album, Skeletone Machine shines with elegance and power, melancholia and euphoria, and refreshing honesty from Eddy. His sound reliably combines grit and melody while diving deeply into ideas ranging from anti-conformism to hopes of eternal love.
