Kate Campbell’s music falls somewhere between Memphis and Muscle Shoals. Critics have praised her sweet smoky vocals and compared her literate songs to the writing style of Eudora Welty, Tennessee Williams and Flannery O’Connor. Her first 3 albums, songs from the Levee, Moonpie Dreams and Visions of Plenty were met with abundant international critical acclaim and drew comparisons to Mary Chapin Carpenter, Nanci Griffith and Emmylou Harris. On Rosaryville, Kate combines acoustic textures with smooth southern grooves to create her most personal musical statement to date. Kate’s highly anticipated enw release reflects the changing southern landscape of her youth.
