The brightest young star in contemporary blues returns with an amazing follow-up to Don’t Call No Ambulance, his remarkable 9000 unit-scanning debut, winner of the 2015 Blues Music Award for Best New Artist Album. Pick Your Poison bursts with exhilarating, genre-expanding blues and roots anchored by the artist’s gruff, urgent vocals and fiery guitar and lap steel playing. Thirteen striking originals-raw roots rock, infectious Southern R&B, sweaty funk jams, searing blues and after hours ballads-forge a groundbreaking new sound created by one of the most sensational new blues talents in ages.
