With over 20 solo and collaboration recordings spanning nearly three decades, LaToya Kent (Mourning [A] BLKstar vocalist & Cleveland Tapes label co-owner) continues to transcend the notion of sonic medicine.   Fresh on the heels of Mourning [A] BLKstar’s critically acclaimed album,  “The Cycle” in May 2020, LaToya makes her (iN)Sect Records’ debut with “NOTHING. “, a record that’s peppered with the poetics and verve Kent is known for with astro//blk production by Polymath RA Washington (Mourning [A] BLKstar bassist/producer & Cleveland Tapes label co-owner). NOTHING offers an exciting addition to a transcendent career with deep underground  heart music from the multiverse of time and space. Beyond.   – Reece Station blk//blur.
