With “Solarmegin” (2018), Bhleg – the Swedish masters of folk/black metal – celebrate the sun as life’s ancient benefactor. Crafted over three summers, exclusively in the sun’s embrace, the first chapter of the “Ár” tetralogy mirrors the jagged, organic essence of life. Spanning 98 minutes, “Solarmegin” is a profound meditation on solar worship. This earthen, two-disc homage, inspired by age-old music and cultures, captures the spirit of Nordvis, far removed from modern artifice.
