Brendan has recently teamed up with Redtenbacher’s Funkestra who frequently entertain the crowds with their original blend of instrumental Jazz Funk (Acid Jazz, Groove Jazz). The combination of instrumental and original vocal tunes has proved highly entertaining and successful and has also brought a good amount of soul out of the band. This recording reflects the soulful live sound of this special combination of artists. Musicians: Brendan Reilly – lead vocals, Vula Malinga, LaDonna Harley, Sharlene Hector – backing vocals, Stefan Redtenbacher – bass, Eran Kendler – guitar, Phil Peskett – keys, Mike Sturgis – drums, Oli Savill – percussion, Sid Gauld – trumpet, Jim Hunt – tenor sax, Dave Williamson – trombone All songs written by Brendan Reilly. Produced by Brendan Reilly and Stefan Redtenbacher. Mixed by Peter Dudley. Mastered by Rupert Christie. Artwork & Design by Peter Katsiaounis at Ink and Manners.
