Singer/Songwriter Cole Tate and band draw on influences of Rock, Blues, R & B, and country going from deep & bluesy to crisp & funky. The tight rhythm section of Adam B. and Scott Urquhart lays down a danceable groove that provides a solid foundation for some of the best dual guitar work since the Allman Brothers. Cole and guitar wiz Erik Schramm display a mastery of soloing and musical textures. Special guests: Commander Cody, Joe Paquin (Sundogs), Austin Delone (Elvis Costello, Fabulous Tbirds), Keith Crossan (Tommy Castro), Jimmy Dillon, Eugene Huggins (Buddy Guy), Patty Quinn (Kingfish). Tate’s originals: “A Love So Strong”, “Somehow You’ll Know”, “Back Porch Serenade”, “Nothin’ Left to Lose”, “Sin City”, “Changes” and also here a truly unique version of Tracy Chapman’s “Talkin’ ‘Bout a Revolution”
