One evening in the long, hot summer of 1976 in London’s home of the blues ‘The 100 Club’, a young Luther Allison would take the stage to stamp his name firmly in the minds of every blues fan present. Strutting the stage tearing tortured, swooping clusters of notes from his guitar, cool and confident, his rich, lithe vocals lead the way through a remarkable live performance you won’t want to miss, including the tracks ‘You Are Gonna Need Me’ and ‘The Thrill is Gone’.
