Limited vinyl LP pressing of this 2016 release. The Family Album finally unites Canadian singer/songwriter Matthew Barber with his sister, the equally gifted Jill Barber. The Family Album is a collection of songs written by the renowned Canadian siblings and cover versions of songs by the likes of Neil Young, Leonard Cohen, Ian Tyson and others. Channeling a vintage spirit while remaining thoroughly contemporary, Jill Barber has carved out a unique niche in the Canadian music landscape with her distinct voice and repertoire rarely confined to any one genre. Matthew Barber is a Toronto-based troubadour known for his soul-searching ballads and clever hooks.
