Poucos anos antes de formar seu trio, Oscar (em seus 20 e poucos anos) gravou sessões em duo com os contrabaixistas Ray Brown e Major Holley. Estas permanecem subestimadas e raramente compiladas, ainda que apresentem improvisação brilhante e tenham sido as primeiras gravações norte-americanas do virtuoso do piano. Singles avulsos e outras bonificações se juntam a Fine and Dandy e a um Tea for Two recém descoberto (ambos ao vivo no Carnegie Hall); Where or When; Tenderly (do seu LP Tenderly); Get Happy; Tico Tico (do seu Keyboard LP); Caravan; Dark Eyes (do seu LP An Evening with Oscar Peterson) 3 CDs de uma crescente genialidade do jazz!
