Dark melodic pop songs, intimate and haunting vocals, Amy Abdou exhibits an uncanny fliar for exposing the ironic and bittersweet in Love and Life ‘A triumphant blend of haunting, elegant, songwriting and mature involving lyrics…Abdou had eclipsed her promising work in Hand Held Moon with this shining solo debut.’ – Stephen Leon, Metroland ‘A definite for this years top ten.’ Jim Barrett, WRPI ‘Amy Abdou’s voice is perhaps the finest around….(her voice) takes on an identity of it’s own, too many influences to mention blended together for a dose of something unique. Truly new age.’ – Howard Glassman, Buzz Magazine ‘Complex and well crafted songs spun with confidence featuring the potent but haunting voice of Amy Abdou. It’s sweet stuff with a bitter bite that lingers in the afterburn.’ – Greg Haymes, Preview Magazine.
