Vandross is in top form on this 1988 album co-produced by bassist Marcus Miller. A more somber affair than some of the releases that preceded it, Vandross takes the time on these nine cuts to muse on love in all it’s forms, utilizing his prodigious singing and writing talent to speak beautifully on the highs and lows of love and love lost.
