Os primeiros frutos da união entre uma das principais vocalistas da música contemporânea, stilista vocal Nancy Wilson, e o produtor Gene Page. ‘All Is Fair In Love And War’ foi lançado em 1974 e seguido por ‘Come Get to This’, ambos. Apresentando um elenco estelar de músicos. ‘All Is Fair’ inclui seu primeiro hit R&B Top 10 em uma década, sua versão de ‘You’re As Right As Rain’ dos The Stylistics (escrita por Thom Bell e Linda Creed). ‘Come Get to This’ traz a sua leitura de ‘Don’t Let Me Be Lonely Tonight’ de James Taylor, ‘If I Ever Lose This Heaven’ e o hit de R&B ‘He Called Me Baby’ juntamente com a faixa-título escrita por Marvin Gaye. Notas de Soul Music. Com fundador David Nathan, incluindo citações de Larkin Arnold.
