This collection completes the story begun with Rhino’s first collection, providing the definitive look at one of the most important early rap acts. More than 70 minutes concentrating on the Elektra output of the group, as well as such key Sugarhill singles as “The Adventures of Grandmaster Flash on the Wheels of Steel” (the first record to include scratching and mixing) as well as the R&B hits “Vice,” “We Don’t Work for Free,” “Girls Love the Way He Spins” and more – most of these seminal tracks making their CD debut.
