Grammy winning guitarist, Dave Alvin, put together a band of female musicians and dubbed them the Guilty Women. The Guilty Women include guitar virtusoss Cindy Cashdollar and Nina Gerber, vocalist Christy McWilson, violinists Laurie Lewis and Amy Farris, bassist Sarah Brown and drummer Lisa Pankratz. The group recorded the self-titled album in Austin Texas and it features new songs by various members of the bands as well as cover songs, which include Doris Days “Que Sera Sera”.
