Mother Maybelle, a beloved icon for folk and country fans alike, was a skilled picker of the banjo and the guitar-but her artistry on the autoharp (or, per the title here, the “Auto-Harp”) is the focus of this mid-’60s LP. Listen to her earthy, elemental renditions of “All I Have Left of You,” “Lover’s Return,” “Gold Watch and Chain,” “The Lover’s Farewell,” “Wildwood Flower” and more! Good Time.
